26.min documentary film in Mexico. A current national portrait with a drop-out as protagonist. Jorge Sanchez is Mexican. He has lived in Germany for many years and is firmly integrated here. He accompanies us to Mexico and gives us an exclusive access. Jorge leads us through the whole country. To his family near Veracruz, in Mexico City, to his Lucha Libre friends in Guadalajara, to an indigenous project of his sister at San Luis de San Potesi, etc.
We were taken with the huge city of Mexico D.F. The country and its people are here again good-naturedly at our side. Our shooting experience in many Latin American countries does the rest. Overwhelmed by Mexico City we shoot here for a few days until we pass through the country. In some places, especially in the north, we had to be very careful. Due to our experienced driver we were well prepared and so our trip through the most dangerous country in the world at that time went without any problems.
